LVC, Israel and the Jewish people

We passionately believe in God's promises for Israel and completely reject all forms of replacement theology and the various manifestations of Christian antisemitism which has been all too prevalent throughtout the centuries and sadly, has resulted in many atrocities committed in the name of Christianity. We believe we owe the Jewish people a debt of gratitude for the bible, the Prophets, the Patriarchs, the apostles and of course Jesus. Romans 15:27 says "They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings".

We are saddened and shocked by the speed the world continues to accept and rush into antisemitic tropes and action. We abhor the fact that people are hiding behind 'anti-Zionism' to pursue unjust and prejudicial action and speech towards Israel and increasingly so the Jewish people around the world. Antisemitism is satanic and a scourge on the earth, the most ancient and easily accepted hatred.

We want to do something about it! So our Senior Leaders Tim and Hayley have set up a ministry: "Christian action against antisemitism" (CAAA), with the goal being to not only to stand with the Jewish people and Israel in their time of need, but effectively to say "we want to stand in front of you, to protect and guard - they will have to get through us first"! Strong sentiments but the Christians owe so much and so much failure and hatred has been orchestrated in our name. The Church overall, has been the greatest vehicle for change and revival on earth, initiating so much amazing healing and impact among the earths most poor and vulnerable.
